March 2026 SASSA payment date for War Veteran’s Grant

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) will pay out its March 2026 social grants on the following dates:
- Old Age Grant – Tuesday, 3 March
- Disability Grant – Wednesday, 4 March
- Children’s Grants (including Foster Care, Care Dependency, War Veteran’s and Grant-in-Aid, paid on the same day) – Thursday, 5 March
These dates follow SASSA’s standard monthly schedule, where Old Age Grants are paid first, followed by Disability and then Children’s Grants, along with all other monthly grants.
No fixed date
Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grants do not have fixed single payment dates; they are paid in batches during the month and vary by individual status and banking details.
For March 2026, SRD grants will be paid between 24 March and 30 March on business days only.
