In the days leading up to the game, Vrabel made a savvy move by consulting two legendary Super Bowl-winning coaches for advice on navigating the pressures and distractions of the NFL’s biggest stage.

According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, Vrabel reached out to Bill Belichick, his former coach and six-time Super Bowl-winning HC with the Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid, a three-time Super Bowl champion who has appeared in six title games.

Vrabel knows firsthand the preparation it takes to reach and perform under the pressure of a Super Bowl, having won three titles as a player with New England under Belichick.

But navigating it as a coach—especially leading a young Patriots roster—is a very different challenge. On Sunday night, he will have the chance to guide New England to a seventh Lombardi Trophy with a win.
