This season hasn't been ideal for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks, but both sides got some positive news on Monday afternoon regarding his health status.
Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo gets major injury update ahead of Celtics game
ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Monday that former NBA champion and MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to return to action in the Bucks' home game against the Celtics on Monday.
This would be the first time Giannis has been made available for a game since Jan. 23.
The Bucks have had a record of 8-7 in the stretch of action that Giannis has been out with an injury.
However, they're 15-15 this season when he is healthy and playing.
The Bucks currently sit 3.0 games out of the last play-in tournament position, with 23 games left on their regular-season schedule.
Giannis is not eligible for award consideration this season due to breaking the threshold for games a player can miss.
