Clinton exploded at the Republicans after Rep. Lauren Boebert took the photo that was later posted on social media by right-wing influencer Benny Johnson.
“I’m done with this. If you guys are doing that, I am done,” Clinton said loudly upon learning about the photo leak.
“You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home. This is just typical behaviour.”
Boebert can be heard saying off camera the photo was taken before the deposition began.

Another person can be heard telling Clinton that the deposition would go off the record.
“Oh for heaven’s sake,” Clinton said, thumping her fist on the table. “It doesn’t matter. We all are abiding by the same rules.”
“I … I will take that down,” Boebert said.
“Yeah, well,” Clinton said. “I’m done.”
The screen then goes black for a few seconds before the deposition appears to resume moments later.

‘Violation of its own rules’
As testimony resumed at the Clinton deposition, her lawyer accused the committee of “violating its own rules” with the photo leak.‘I’d like to just say, for the record, we find it unacceptable, we find it unprofessional, and we find it unfair,” the lawyer said, noting the Clintons had pushed for a public hearing. “We are here in good faith, we are counting on good faith from all the members.”
Committee chair James Comer said he advised his members that no photos or videos from the deposition can be released.
“I understand the posted photo was taken before the deposition started,” Comey said, per Fox News. “That will not happen again. And we will look forward to continue with the deposition.”
Comey also took a jab at Clinton, stating he was “disappointed that the secretary’s opening statement was leaked to the press, before she even gave her opening statement.”
Clinton’s lawyer clapped back, stating the opening statement wasn’t leaked, but rather provided, as was the case with other witnesses.
“What we don’t want is a secretary to be treated any differently than other witnesses,” the lawyer said.
Five hours of footage released
The footage of Clinton nearly storming out of the deposition was part of close to five hours of video released by the House Oversight Republicans on social media on Monday. Videos of both Hillary and Bill Clinton were released in full.
Hillary Clinton was deposed by both Republicans and Democrats last Thursday.
During the hours-long questioning , the former first lady said she had no recollection of ever meeting Epstein, and that she only knew his partner-in-crime, Ghislaine Maxwell, as an acquaintance.
On Friday, her husband Bill Clinton was also questioned behind closed doors for the committee’s Epstein investigation. The former president denied any wrongdoing in his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and saw no signs of his abuse.
