10 players put up impressive bench press numbers at Texas A&M Pro Day
· Yahoo Sports
Texas A&M's 2026 Pro Day was a massive success for severall of the 23 players who participated in the annual event, including running back Le'Veon Moss, who, after dealing with a lower body injury that kept him sidelined for the second half of the 2025 regular season, looked back to form during his 40-yard dash, while recording an impressive 9'7" broad jump.
Wednesday's event was also another chance for NFL scouts in attendance, including Dallas Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who reportedly hosted 11 of the players who worked out for a pre-Pro Day dinner. Focusing on the Cowboys, Unanimous All-American edge Cashius Howell, who did participate at the NFL Combine as well, could be available for Dallas at No. 20 in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Star wide receiver KC Concepcion also worked out in combination with his standout performance during the combine, and is also expected to be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft. One of the more underrated, but telling workouts at every Pro Day, the bench press, has not been an issue for Texas A&M players at every position, especially after long snapper Jacob Graham put up 23 reps of 225 lbs.
After not benching at the combine, Cashius Howell put up an impressive 22 reps, while veteran offensive lineman Koli Faaiu led the way with 29 reps. Under S&C coach Tommy Moffitt, strength will never be an issue, and for NFL teams seeking immediate-impact players, Texas A&M will continue to produce pro-ready players with the toughness needed to take the field at the next level.
