One NFL reporter is more confident than ever about the possibility of the Patriots landing A.J. Brown.
Tennessee Titans reporter Easton Freeze, who works for A to Z Sports, left last week's NFL owners meetings convinced New England eventually will trade for Brown. Of course, numerous offseason rumors have identified the Patriots as the clear favorites to trade for the Philadelphia Eagles receiver.
"One thing I'll be leaving the owners meetings way too sure of: A.J. Brown will wear a Patriots jersey this fall," Freeze wrote in an X post.

Freeze didn't elaborate further, but it's fair to assume he made his prediction after speaking with sources at the meetings. Regardless, his post added more fuel to an ever-growing fire.
Whether Brown is traded to the Patriots remains to be seen. However, at this juncture, it's hard to envision him returning to the Eagles for another season, as all signs point toward both sides wanting to move on.
Though undeniably on the decline, Brown remains a true No. 1 receiver. The 28-year-old posted 78 catches for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns in 15 games last season. Brown is a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time Super Bowl champion.
