Tracking Packers special teams coordinator interviews after losing Rich Bisaccia
· Yahoo Sports
Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers are attempting to find a replacement at special teams coordinator after Rich Bisaccia, a veteran coach who held the job in Green Bay for four seasons, decided to step down from the role on Tuesday -- over a month after the end of the 2025 season.
The Packers are in a difficult position considering most of the hiring cycle to start the 2026 offseason is complete. Teams have filled the major coordinator positions on staff, leaving the Packers to sort through the scraps.

LaFleur needs to get this hire right, and he is getting to work on interviews. There's a time element involved -- the Packers would like to finalize their coaching staff -- but at least there aren't other teams in the market for a new coordinator and competing against the Packers. With Bisaccia out, LaFleur must find a coordinator capable of moving the franchise past decades of futility and game-altering mistakes within the third phase.
